We are beautiful.

We are beautiful because we are His Creation.

The God who made this Earth with his hands formed us too. The God that made the beautiful blue ocean, the sunset-painted sky, the singing birds, and the vast mountains and valleys, made us. Think about that. The God that made the countless stars in the universe and the millions of grains of sand, made us in a unique way, in His image.

Animals are not made in His image, the trees aren’t, and the flowers aren’t, only we are.

Genesis 1:26: “Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness.” “...God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.” God only said His creation was very good after He made us.

When you think of the word beautiful, you may think about outward appearance, but God made our souls beautiful.

1 Peter 3:3-4: “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.”

Our soul, what makes us us, what communicates with God Himself, is Beautiful. It is something that doesn’t decay with time, nor is it bound by societal standards and trends. Our Soul is God’s Beauty.

Our beauty is us, no standards. God made us beautiful because He is perfectly beautiful, the most pure and uncorrupted beautiful to ever exist.
